The Sage Summit 2017 took place earlier this month in Melbourne. The summit was the perfect opportunity to review what Sage has achieved throughout the year and at the same time getting more insight on what Sage is planning to do and offer over the next few years. The Sage Summit was a unique chance to connect to the Sage experts, the partners and the third-party add-ons that are available for the growth of your business.
SAGE KEYNOTES
The event lasted for two days and kicked off with strong and encouraging messages delivered by Alan Osrin (Managing Director of Sage Australia), Alan Laing (Executive Vice President - Partners and Alliances), Van Diamandakis (Executive Vice President - Brand) and Fabiola Stein (Vice President of Global Product Marketing) catching up on what Sage has planned in terms of unveiling new products and improving existing ones as well as the brand development and market strategy for Sage. Sage is collectively working to building their software around their customers and partners, making sure that they are available to ideas and feedback through forums and portals.
THE FUTURE OF SAGE 300
Sage is investing more and more time into one of their most valuable products which is Sage 300. The user interface for the desktop version of Sage 300 will greatly improve as the screens will be modernised in the next few releases, giving you a more fluid and enjoyable user experience while operating your business. As for Sage 300c, Sage is working harder than ever to enhance the web screens capabilities and make Sage 300c cloud-ready and at the same time providing a stronger web API in order to support third-party integrations to the web screens. The roadmap for Sage 300 is clear and well-defined for the next couple of releases and is looking very promising based on the new features and improvements that are being done.
SAGE CRM
The Sage CRM is definitely not left out, with some enhancements in the user interface and multiple improvements of the features of the product. The integration to the Sage CRM has also been reviewed and upgraded which will benefit users that are interfacing with Microsoft Office or MailChimp.
CONCLUSION
Sage is eager to work with partners and customers to enhance the products and is very transparent when it comes to what they have scheduled on their roadmaps. We have seen how valuable Sage 300 is to the Sage people and how much effort is being spent in marketing and developing the solution. Sage 300 is a well-established business management solution suite that provides small and medium businesses with a highly adaptable solution for both your financial and operational needs.
