The latest Sage Business Cloud Financials has been released last week with several UX changes and additional features to make your experience simpler and faster through the interface. We have compiled a few of those features to give you an idea of the improvements in your Sage Financials org. IMPROVEMENTS TO MIGRATION TOOLSThe migration tools in Sage Financials have been upgraded to make the implementation smoother by improving the data extraction and data import capabilities. It is now faster and more convenient to switch from a legacy accounting product to Sage Financials. ADDITIONAL DIMENSIONAL REPORTSThe new Sage Financials release includes a few multi-dimension reports allowing you to analyse the figure and get better insights into your business performance. Those reports include:
EASIER ACCESS TO PRODUCTS LEDGER ACCOUNTSA new section has been added into the products screen for the Ledger Account and It is now easier and more instinctive to change the List Price and the Tag Ledger Accounts against products and non-stock products in Sage Financials directly from the products screen. This includes the Purchase, Purchase Return, Sales and Sales Return accounts. IMPROVEMENTS TO ENTERING TRANSACTIONSThe new layout will now allow you to specify the ledger accounts in any Sales or Purchase Invoice or Bank Transactions on the fly. This means that data entry through Sage Financials has been made much more efficient and instinctive. The header information is also more organised with sub-tabs to make it easier to find the information required. BETTER REFERENCE IN NON-POSTABLE TRANSACTIONSThe auto-numbering sequence on the non-postable transactions including sales orders and purchase orders have been improved and will facilitate tracking of the source transaction. AVERAGE COSTINGYou can now maintain a unit cost for your stock items to generate a stock valuation with the costing method changed to be by SKU or location or both.
