MYOB has officially announced that they will no longer provide features, patches, compliance updates or product support for MYOB AccountRight Classic (including Accounting Plus, Premier 19 or Enterprise 19) as of the 30th of September 2019. This gives users about 6 months to take a decision and move to another solution, what does it mean for current MYOB users?
Although this sounds like terrible news, there is no need to panic, MYOB AccountRight users must now be prepared to either:
MYOB AccountRight Classic and MYOB AccountRight 2018 are different products and there will be significant differences between the two. However MYOB is still building the cloud version of the product so that it contains all the features you have been using in the old MYOB AccountRight Classic before the forced move.
The second option is much more interesting, if you have been using MYOB AccountRight Classic for a long time, there may be something else that suits your requirements better and out-of-the-box, this can include:
